	WELCOME TO THE MEMBER SEARCH ENGINE OF THE DALLAS FAMILY LAW SECTION WEBSITE To Link to The Official DFLS Website, click here www.dallasfamilylawsection.com Message from DFLS Website Chair, John Polk: RELAX - this is not the DFLS Official Website! This Site is still around because it hosts our DFLS Member Directory in a very user-friendly way. Many of you who might have come to view this page might be less than impressed with the overall appearance of this Site. However, now enter "www.dallasfamilylawsection.com" in the address line above...and then come on back here. Did you notice a bit of a difference? Hopefully, you let out a "whew," just as I would. This Sit is still around because we can't find an adequate replacement to enable our members, judges, or potential clients to look up DFLS Lawyers by last name. Before, we had a roster that read alphabetically...great for the "A's", but bad for everyone else who could be found pages and pages down the scroller. The appearance of the DFLS Website has been a concern of the DFLS Board. But, more importantly, we have been focused on content and accuracy. The new Dallas Family Courts directory was added this week, which contains all the 2008 information the Courts want us, the Dallas Family Law Bar, to use. If there are any inconsistencies with that document and other content on the Site, please let me know. By now you know I've not given up my day job! So, requests will be addressed, but please don't expect instant results! In the coming months, a concerted effort will be made to make this Website even more useful. We hope to consolidate resources and ditch this Site in favor of, perhaps, software that will let us upload a search engine similar to this Website. I welcome all helpful suggestions, volunteers, and creative-types who know how to work in Frontpage and/or Dreamweaver (as I do not). We can and will make this Website both user friendly and extremely useful, so next year we might actually make the list of "Helpful Websites" in the Family Courts' Directory! ______________________________________________________________________________ Information for Section Members: TO ALL SECTION MEMBERS - This Website is a work-in-progress and we are constantly trying to update information.
